Founded by Soke (Master) Teruo Hayashi, Hayashi-ha Shitoryu Karate has its roots in traditional Japanese and Okinawan Karate. Today, as head of the WKA and IHSKF, Hanshi Thiry carries on the teachings of Soke Hayashi.
